The process of creating a bronze sculpture is a complex one, involving many steps from the creation of the original model or the "maquette", to the mold, the wax, pouring the bronze, "chasing" (trimming the sprues and vents), polishing, applying the patina, creating the base/mount, to eventually arriving at the finished art.

A bronze is a collaboration of the conceiving artist with many supporting artists and craftspeople who assist the artist in realizing his goal...to create art that can be enjoyed by generations to come. A bronze sculpture is more than a piece of metal, it is the creative form immortalized.
